Runner's Wish List

Happy Wednesday!  Good news, you're half way through the week!

Also good news, I took my first run of the new year yesterday!!

4.5 easy miles, and they felt FANTASTIC.  I missed it so, so much.

On today's agenda is a speed workout, but since the track is covered in a fat layer of snow, I'll have to get creative with an 800 loop somewhere.  Or perhaps I could just make it extra hard and try and run through the snow......

Today I'm gonna be pretty boring and show you a bunch of running items I've had my eye on lately.  There are so many great gadgets for runners out there right now!  I do put a lot of them on my Pinterest board, but since I'm tired from taking care of sick babies all week and running low on inspiration, this is what you're getting.  Besides, a little window shopping can't hurt, right?

Right :)

I've wanted a pair of compression socks FOREVER.  A lot of my favorite blogs swear by them and their aid in recovery.  Plus they come in saweet colors.  (Dear ProCompression, please please please bring back the yellow!!)

One thing I'm in desperate need want of, is a gps watch.  This Garmin Forerunner is at the top of my list.  It seems like it has just enough bells and whistles without it being complicated.  (It comes in green, too!)

I've been slighty annoyingly obsessed with these shoes for months.

Sweating + big hair = lots of headbands.  Bondi band has bands that pretty much describe my life almost creepily.  Plus they're only $8.00!  Winning!

Apparently judging from this list, the only things I want are bright or have something to do with food.  Oops, this combines both of those.

I know I talk about Lululemon a lot on Fridays, but listen, I'm just waiting for the day when I can afford their clothing without having to sell a vital organ.  These shorts are obviously amazing (hellow yellow), and those capris are ridiculous.  If you have an extra bajillion dollars laying around, I'll take half to buy those two things.

So I think that's enough bright shiny objects for one day.

  1. I totally agree: Lulemon is awesome, but is soooo expensive! I do splurge to get their bottoms, but I don't think their tops (especially tanks) are worth the money.

    1. Right?! I can go to Old Navy and get tops that are just as cute for, at most, $15. I'd rather spend money on running shoes.... and ice cream :) Thanks for reading!!
