February Fitness Check in- part deux

Good evening ladies and gents.  Another Monday has come and gone.  And I'm tired.  Mile repeats WRECK me.  So let's make this a quick one (that's what she said.)

Last week's challenge:

ONLY DRINK WATER!!

Result:

I drank a LOT of water.  But you know I gotta be honest with you guys, I had a glass of wine Saturday (okay it was a BIG glass) and a small cup of decaf Wednesday. 

This was a really, really hard one for me.  I love coffee.  I love wine.  I love lamp.

My headaches were less, but my happiness was down a level.  I will definitely NOT be repeating this part of the challenge for awhile.

I also did planks 3 days!!  Okay that still kind of sucks, but its a start!

This week's challenge:

PUSH-UPS

I am such a terrible pusher-upper.  Yup, that's totally a thing.  And I am a terrible one.

I am not one of those people who like lifting heavy things and doing bad ass pull ups and other gym-like things.  I am a cardio junky through and through, and even though I KNOW I should work on weights, I just hate it.  Even if it's body weight exercises, I still don't want any part of it.

That's the point of this month, though.  To get out of my comfort zone.  Let's do this.

SO.  This week I'm going to try and do 30 push ups a day.  I was going to try 50, but I think that is setting myself up for failure.  Since I super stink at doing them, I'd rather start out slow and maybe even someday possibly sorta go up from there.  Wishful thinking, I know.

Wow, sorry that there wasn't a single picture in this post.  Blogger fail.  Next time!

  1. You did two more planks this week than I did. Good job!
    I don't know if I could give up coffee for a week. I love it way too much! But I do try to only have one cup a day.
